Natural rubber is a raw material used in the production of many products. It's utilized in medical devices, surgical gloves, aircraft and car tires, pacifiers, clothes, toys, etc. Rubber is typically easily moulded in various shapes and sizes. Rubber is employed to manufacture gardening tools, pipes, and hoses.
RUBBERS ARE CLASSIFIED AS POLYMERS HAVING ELASTIC PROPERTIES AND HENCE THEY ARE ALSO CALLED AS ELASTOMERS.RUBBERS ARE CLASSIFIED BASED ON THEIR HEAT RESISTANCE PROPERTIES AND RESISTANCE TO VARIOUS TYPES OF OILS WHICH ARE USED AS MEDIUM IN SEVERAL MACHINES.
IN OUR FIRST LECTURE,WE SHALL DISCUSS ON TYPES OF RUBBERS, PRODUCTS MADE FROM THESE RUBBERS BY MOULDING PROCESS.CRITICAL ROLE OF RUBBER PRODUCTS FOR VARIOUS APPLICATIONS.
